2023년 3월 7일, 새로운 프로그램 “영어 뮤지컬”이 시작됐다. “영어 뮤지컬” 프로그램은 팝송 따라부르기, 영어로 뮤지컬 연습하기 등으로 구성되어 아동들이 영어에 더 친숙해질 수 있는 기회를 제공한다.아동들이 프로그램 강사님과 함께 연습할 팝송을 회의를 통해서 자율적으로 고르고 있다.아동들이 회의 시간에 자신의 의견을 활발하게 표출하고 있다.아동들이 회의 끝에 선정된 팝송 <I’m Yours>를 따라 불러 보고 있다.영어로 된 노래를 숙지하기 위하여 아동들이 <I’m Yours>의 가사를 직접 써보고 있다.아동들이 모둠을 지어 이번 시간에 연습한 팝송을 따라부르고 있다. 신규 프로그램 “영어 뮤지컬”은 아동들이 다소 어렵게 느낄 수 있는 영어를 노래 배우기와 같은 부드러운 접근 방식을 통하여 본 과목에 대한 이해를 높히는 효과를 보일 것이다.
